There's no place like home
Ben and I got back from our cruise to Baja Cali/Mexico on Friday night, then I flew up to Tulsa to pick up Jackson from Ben's mom's house. After ten days of traveling to paradise and being away from home, I have to say that paradise ain't got nothin' on my home! I loved Catalina Island and Ensenada, and we really did have a great time, but being away from home and Jack and our little routine made me physically sick! I know what you're thinking, that it was just seasickness, but this was before the ship ever left Long Beach!
Tonight I let the dog out and the night was so beautiful that I lingered for a few minutes after Lady had done her business to just take it all in. The breeze was blowing my hair away from my face and I could see Orion and hear the train in the distance. I just love living here in Saginaw! I feel so safe in our little suburban small town! I love our house and how open the floor plan is. I never get stressed because it just feels like we have SO much space. I have all my little comforts exactly where I want them and it is just so great being a homeowner with a little family! I could seriously be reclusive!
I guess the bottom line is that I feel so blessed to have been born with all the blessings I had as a child and then to have been given so many more is incredible! I am just feeling overwhelmed with a love for life and a gratitude for God's plan and all his creations and how everything just fits together and runs so smoothly!
